Membership has its privileges; however, it has more responsibilities.  As a member of Barboursville Baptist Church, we have committed ourselves to Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as Savior.  We have also made a public profession of our faith by following Him in the act of baptism.  Further, we have committed ourselves to each other, to seeking to live as though Jesus has genuinely changed our lives, and to faithfully supporting our church, its ministries and mission.  As a church we are dedicated to sharing the transformative message of the Gospel to all.  This means that we intentionally seek to provide ministries locally, regionally, and globally - Acts 1:8.  We are Providing Ministries Which Enable All Persons To Become Fully Committed Followers of Christ!
