Men's Ministries

Since 2002, our men have participated annually in the Promise Keepers Conferences. We have seen as many as 15 men attend these, returning to our homes and home churches as changed men. This year is no different, with plans to attend the PK Conference in Charleston, West Virginia during September 11-12, 2008. We'll be displaying more information as it becomes available.

We are also in hopes that this summer will include some special "real men" activities. These will likely take place after the 1st of July when we have concluded our involvement in Vacation Bible School and leadership in that. By this time in July, we will also have had the time to enjoy some follow-up from contacts made during VBS and integrate some of these new faces and their families into the life of BBC!

The American Baptist Men of West Virginia will have their annual men's Camp at Cowen in August. However, this is during the weekend that one of our favorite young men from our church will be getting married. So, we'll look forward to this on the 2009 calendar.
