BBC Nursery

At Barboursville Baptist, we believe that the teaching of the cross and Jesus’ sacrificial love for humankind begins in the nursery. Prominently displayed in the middle of the padded floor is the cross. This floor hosts 8-12 children every Sunday morning and smaller numbers throughout the week.

The Board of Christian Education has recently adopted a set of guidelines for all adults who work with children and adolescents. In this guideline, we state that we always want at least two people in the nursery with one of them being an adult. The other staff may be an adolescent who is above the 6th grade.

This nursery staff is made of 36 individuals who volunteer for one or more services monthly. This ministry is provided for every ministry opportunity offered at BBC.
