BBC Outreach

Outreach at Barboursville Baptist Church isn’t normally done via the traditional methods of door-to-door visits but rather by the dedicated real-life transformation of God’s power at work. Through significant relationships, God calls upon us to share our faith by the lives we live.

Starting in January, 2008, we plan to begin a Saturday evening gather which will provide outreach opportunities in non-threatening ways to allow the church family to spend time together. One Saturday per month, we’ll be hosting movie nights, concerts, and special worship gatherings. These will all be family-friendly and will welcome people of all ages.

One of the young adults in the Cross Training Ministry said, “This church family is made up of the people I love. I really enjoy spending time with them.”

Once in a while, outreach occurs through specific events especially around the Christmas and Easter Holidays. And, one of the big events of our community is the Fallfest parade and festival held in September.
